An instrument was developed and validated by a team of university faculty, urban teachers, and school administrators. This article presents evidence for teacher self-efficacy in urban schools, a construct that is separate from but related to the more general construct of teacher self-efficacy. Research in teacher self-efficacy has a long history that can be traced back to Bandura (1986) and has been shown to be linked to teacher performance. Garner, Mary Kokan, Julie Annis, Kathy Baker, Mark Phillips, Maggie Head, Catherine Hearrington, Doug Yanosky, Daniel Holbein, Marie We will describe the JHU Mixed-signal Unconventional Supercomputing Elements (MUSE), and report initial results for the Lyon-Fedder-Mobarry (LFM) global magnetospheric MHD code, and a UCLA general purpose relativistic Particle-In-Cell (PIC) code.ĭevelopment and Analysis of a Scale for Meauring Teachers' Sense of Efficacy in Urban Schools ( SEUS). Peta-op SupErcomputing Unconventional System (Per SEUS) aims to explore the use for High Performance Scientific Computing (HPC) of ultra-low-power mixed signal unconventional computational elements developed by Johns Hopkins University (JHU), and demonstrate that capability on both fluid and particle Plasma codes. The USO was powered off and then back on in Aug. Analyses of the spacecraft-transmitted frequencies show that the USO is behaving as expected.

Estimates for the USO-referenced, spacecraft-transmitted frequency and frequency stability were made for 82 data acquisition passes conducted between launch (Oct. These results allow the health and performance of the Galileo USO to be evaluated, and are used to calibrate this Radio Science instrument and the data acquired for Radio Science experiments such as the Redshift Observation, Solar Conjunction, and Jovian occultations. Results are presented in this article from an analysis of radio metric data received by the DSN stations from the Galileo spacecraft using an Ultrastable Oscillator ( USO) as a signal source. One of the goals of the Remote Exploration and Experimentation (REE) project at JPL is to determine how vulnerable applications are to single event upsets ( SEUs) when run in low radiation space environments using commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) components. Assessing application vulnerability to radiation-induced SEUs in memory
